If you're into Chinese fast food, this should be on your top 3 place to visit in Oalkand. The food is freshly made and the price is very reasonable. There's no table to sit down to enjoy your food so this is strictly a takeout place. Most items are good, a little oily just what to expect from Chinese fast foods. Steamed, fried, baked...so my to choose from. You will find yourself to comeback.

Don't pass this up. It's not just a pastry shop as the name may suggest. I come here for chow mein. They pile it on high, and it's relatively cheap. The line may look long, but it moves at a reasonable pace.

Love Tao Yuen. A selection of hot dishes, dim sum, the usual buns and pastries. If you are hungry and poor, Tao Yuen is your place. A little on the greasy side, but that's part of the territory. Tired of bringing donuts to the office? Tap Yuen will help with some sweet treats. Try the sesame balls!

**CASH ONLY!** (There is a Wells Fargo and a Bank of America as well as another local bank ATM nearby, but best to come prepared!) Now on to the review... I cannot get over how delicious the food here is. EVERYTHING. Whether I recognize it or not, the absolutely heavenly smell makes me want to try every and anything in front of my eyes. I particularly like the fried shrimp dumpling, incredibly crisp with juicy, sweet, yet savory filling. I also recommend the BBQ pork bun... the tops of the buns are just sliiightly sweet and sticky and it is SO worth getting your hands a little messy for this. The fried sesame rice balls with bean paste inside are the best I have ever had. Just... that absolute symphony of crispy, crunchy, sweet, savory, soft, chewy... what can I say - perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Best orange chicken of my lifetime, chow mien is phenomenal. There honestly isn't much more I can say. I can't wait to try everything here. The staff is very nice. You may feel a little rushed, especially when (and there often is) a line, but personally I felt it was part of the experience. The ladies will hear out your whole order even as you're desperately trying to decide what you want, and if you forget cash (as I have), they will wait with your to-go bag for you to saunter off to the ATM or wherever/whomever your cash salvation may be. And let me tell you, they do NOT skimp on giving you what you order. They fill those plastic containers to the brim and I am so grateful for this. Optimization at its finest. But yeah. Come here. Unless you want health food, then go someplace else. I excitedly anticipate my next visit.

If you're looking for a quick drop by to grab some delicious bite or just wanting something for your lunch then this place is a great place to start. With many options to choose from there is definitely something for everyone in your party. One to note is that with Chinese food is that it's best appreciated while the food is fresh and pipping hot. Grabbing a meal and stuffing into your lunch bag and 6 hours later doesn't constitutes as good eating. Do yourself a favor and throw those buns into the microwave for at least 10 seconds and I promise the difference is night and day.
